Christmas in Charleston and Mount Pleasant

Charleston County Parks Festival of Lights
The Charleston County Holiday Festival of Lights kicked off on November 12th with an annual tree lighting. The three mile drive through the park with nearly 300 displays and over two million lights is open until January 2nd from 5:30-11:00 on Fridays and Saturdays and from 5:30-10:00 from Sunday - Thursday. Entry is $10/car up to 15 people, $25 for vehicles carrying 16-30 people and $100 for vehicles with more than 30 people. In addition to the light show, there is marshmallow roasting, refreshments, carousel rides, gift shops, gingerbread houses, a hay ride, and a huge Christmas sand castle.
Mount Pleasant's Christmas in the South
Mount Pleasant's annual Holiday Market and Craft Show with be held on December 11th at Moultrie Middle School on Coleman Boulevard. The market is a treasure trove of Mount Pleasant's arts and crafts and a cornucopia of appetizing food and fresh produce. Holiday greanery, Christmas ornaments, candles, soaps and jewelry are all available.
Charleston, Mount Pleasant Christmas Parades
Mount Pleasant's Holiday Light Extravaganza scheduled to parade along Coleman Boulevard on Sunday, December 12th, will depart immediately following a tree lighting ceremony and fireworks at Moultrie Middle School at 5:30. More than 100 floats will light the boulevard and cross Shem Creek.
